Missions
Hannah Marquez
Unlike most children, my super heroes were missionaries. Our close family friends lived in Nepal for years and enchanted me with stories of church plantings, curries and tapeworms.
18 years later and I find myself having the opportunity to serve as a missionary with Youth With A Mission in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island. In the last 3 years I have had the opportunity to travel to Germany, France, India, and Nepal to spread the gospel and to create media to raise awareness of social injustice.
This April till September I am staffing the Voice for the Voiceless Video Advocacy school. The 6 month class will train people to use videography to create moving documentaries that can impact our culture today. The topic we are focusing on this year, is Human Trafficking, both here in Hawaii and around the world. Please pray that we continue to trust God and challenge those around.
Your prayers and support are a priceless gift to me.
